Mapping for Justice
We are assisting communities in mapping their ancestral territories using modern technology combined with traditional knowledge. This helps to document their land claims and strengthen their legal standing. We use digital technology to map Indigenous resources that include grazing land, spiritual sites, cultural sites, and different land use by Indigenous people.
We train communities to use modern mapping tools alongside traditional knowledge to document ancestral land use. This data supports litigation, strengthens advocacy, and ensures that historical land connections are preserved for future generations. See our mapping work here.
